Freak Athlete/QB… Ready to Roll!

Titus Johnson is a QB at Millennium High School (AZ) in Goodyear, AZ. Titus trains hard in the offseason with the best of the best in QB coaches: Dan Manucci, Ron Veal, and Donovan McNabb. He is 6’1, has a strong arm, but prides himself on being able to run the football very effectively, when needed. He has running back speed in a QB body. He’s extremely versatile that has worked hard on the mental aspect of the game, most notably reading defenses. He has learned the spread offense and continues to excel in situations where he must read defenses. His offseason workouts are intense, balancing weights with field time and film study. He balances this offseason work with attending camps all around the country to continue to build his skill-set and establish relationships with coaches.

Titus knows that he must focus on the issues that he can control. He’s worked hard to build the trust of his teammates and the core of his team has been together throughout high school. He loves working with his head coach. He hates losing much worse than he loves winning and will work hard to never let his teammates down. Titus has led his team to an undefeated season and most recently a conference championship. The team accolades are more important than individual awards.

Titus has built relationships with coaches at colleges and universities across the country and thrives on teamwork.

Watching Titus on film, the first intangible is his calm when the pocket collapses. He can scramble to find the open receiver and also has the discipline to know when to tuck the ball away and run when needed.
