Cole McCleve

Cole McCleve is a DB/ATH at Highland High School (AZ) in Gilbert, AZ, class of 2024. Cole is 6’3 and can play anywhere on the field. He is a big receiver with breakaway speed and can cover receivers when he’s on the defensive side of the ball. He’s been the defensive MVP and led the team in interceptions. He is a fierce tackler and can chase down ball carriers from behind. He’s thrived playing man-to-man defenses, but can adjust to any scheme. He strives to be a consummate teammate and will block for his team to the whistle, when asked. Cole trains hard in the offseason and includes 7 on 7 in his offseason work. He knows that off-season work is critical to in-season success.

Cole would like to find a college with a family environment that places academics first. He would like to contribute to a program that values the student. Cole learns from adversity and knows that it will ultimately contribute to his growth as a person. He looks forward to continuing to build relationships with college coaches across the country.

Cole considers himself and Athlete because he can play anywhere on the field. He excels when lined up on the edge and pursues the football. He plays well in space and covers anyone with the football. Offensively, he is only the team’s leading target at receiver due to his size and breakaway speed. He has the football i.q. to learn any position and will raise the success of a team when used in clutch situations.
