No spotlight, no fame but rest assured, the long snapping position in football is one of the most important positions on the field!!!
Let us take a look at one of the best Long Snappers not only in the state of Arizona, but in the country, Class of 2021, Ben Lisk!
Before we get into the training and rankings, let's look at some special accomplishments Ben has made in the classroom. Ben Lisk is an AP/Honors Student in the highly acclaimed CREST Program at Paradise Valley High School with a 3.85 GPA. Ben also received a score of 27 on his ACT his sophomore year and is projecting over 30 on his upcoming re-test.
Ben takes extreme pride in his academics and is looking forward to playing football at some of the top academic institutions in the country where he plans to study environmental science. His amazing work ethic combined with his discipline and high character have earned Ben the AIA Scholar-Athlete Award for 2018/2019, PVHS Special Teams Player of the Year and 2nd Team All-Region.
Let's take an in-depth look at Ben on the field. A picture of consistency and leadership for PVHS Head Coach Davis, Ben never stops training. He is currently ranked by Kohl's Snapping at 14th in the country!!!
In addition to training with Kohl's, Ben has had the privilege of training with Coach Ben Bernard and Coach Gary Zauner, the top long snapping coaches in the country. All of this training has Ben at an astonishing snap time of 0.67 seconds and getting better every day!
Ben has received his first offer from Pacific University in Oregon and is expecting many more.
