MY RECRUITS PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: Kaden Hicks

Hicks is a big time talent along the Mountain Ridge offensive line He sizes up with an excellent frame at 6’4” 260lbs with solid position versatility along the OL as he can line up anywhere and bully opponents. Very powerful at the point of contact with a good strike, and also shows violent, nasty hands with a punch. He’s shown mobility to get downfield to the second level when needed as well. Translates weight room strength to the field and projects to be a highly recruited offensive lineman. 

His size at the high school level really separates him and gives him an advantage to be able to out leverage and control opponents. He would fit very well in a power run scheme at the next level given his ability to seal the edge and open up the outside. He’s a good athlete as he also throws the shot put and discus for the Mountain Ridge track team. He’s not a stranger to adversity, as he’s been on 0-10 teams and successful teams, yet keeps that same dawg mentality no matter the situation.

Hicks doesn’t have an offseason, as he trains for football 4-6 times a week, studies film, and also has track practice 5 times a week. He is well trusted by his head coach and has a strong, brotherhood bond with his teammates. His seeking out a school with good academic program within his major, but where coaches are willing to build strong relationships with players both on and off the field.

Hicks is a valued member of the My Recruits Family and currently holds an offer from one of the top Division 3 programs in the country, Lake Forest College.
