Less than 1% of high school kickers and punters are fortunate enough to earn a collage football scholarship. You have to be special to be in that top 1% of specialists. Here in Arizona, we are lucky to have 2 of those special kickers in our back yard, Robert Liss from Verrado High School and Max Miller from Pinnacle High School.

Both kickers currently training at AZ Kicking & Training with Alex Zendejas.

Alex Zendajas says "the hard work and passion that both kickers have is the reason they are so successful currently" and believes both are just scratching the surface of talent.

Robert is a 3 year Varsity starter who has put up stellar numbers throughout his high school career. As a sophomore, Robert went 48-50 on PATs setting a Verrado record. During the off season after Robert's sophomore year he began working with Adam Tanalski of Hammer Kicking Academy. Robert has added depth to both his field goals and kick offs averaging a 4.3 second hang time and showing consistency up to 55 yards. So far throughout his senior season, Robert is both perfect on PATs and FGs. As if Robert's resume wasn't impressive enough, he has picked up the punting duties and is averaging 41.0 yards per punt. Robert is a star in the classroom as well with a 3.54 GPA and is Student Body Vice President. Robert currently has several offers and is actively weighing his decision with Utah, Sacramento State and a few other D-1 Schools in the hunt.

The next young man is Place Kicker Max Miller from Pinnacle High School. After years of competitive soccer at the highest level, combined with Max's love for the game of football, it has prompted Max to finally step on the football field in his junior season and what a step it was! Max is currently the leading kicker in 6A in the State of Arizona with 8 for 10 field goals, a long of 45 yards and a very high touch back ratio. Max is also a star in the classroom with a 3.8 GPA and is no slouch in the weight room squatting close to 400 pounds. Max has been receiving a lot of attention from multiple PAC-12 Schools, especially the University of Arizona.

Both players have been working closely with Recruiting Coach Lou Perrone of My Recruits.
